Anti-Virus / Anti-Spyware Protection
Computer viruses and the dangers that they introduce affect your ability to rely on the availability of your data. Viruses enter environments via diskettes,
CDs, e-mail attachments, even website images. They attach themselves to boot sectors, programs, and even Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and macros. New
viruses pop up every day and many of them are getting smarter and smarter. The ratio for Virus infected e-mails continues to increase. In 2003, 1 out of every
33 e-mails was virus infected. In 2004, the number increased to 1 in 16. Symantec alone employs a staff of 26 full-time employees just to locate, analyzes, and
disable any new viruses that surface. A company without automatic protection is at risk. Both the server and workstations must be regularly updated with new
definitions. Although there are several AntiVirus software applications on the market, BTS recommends Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Symantec Client
Security. Our engineers configure all our customer sites to regularly download and distribute the latest definitions to ensure they are up to date and as
well-protected as possible.
Anti-Spam Protection
As with Viruses, the ratio for Spam e-mail continues to increase. In 2003, 40% of e-mail was spam. In 2004, the number increased to 73%. Sounds crazy but if
that trend continues it will be over 90% in 2005 exceeding everyone's worst fears. BTS recommends a solutions that addresses both spam and viruses... it is a

business against the high cost of Spam. High-Cost, Yes!! Billions of dollars a year for businesses due to lost productivity. However, the folks at NetLiance
do more than address your Spam issue, they also provide Anti-Virus filtering. What does that mean? It means that the majority of the viruses you may receive
via e-mail can be intercepted BEFORE than ever get to you. Anything that possibly get through is then analyzed by your virus software... 2-Layer Protection!!
We use both the Spam and Virus Filtering ourselves and are really happy with the solution.
Disaster Recovery Plan
On the average more than about 50% of all businesses that have 100% data loss are out of business within one year. As companies become increasingly dependant on

Systems Analysis
BTS offers two levels of analysis simply referred to as a Level 1 and a Level 2. The Level 1 Systems Analysis consists of an extensive client interview (a question and answer session). In that interview we discuss issues such as Data Integrity, Disaster Recovery, Security, E-mail, and productivity tools sush as Fax Servers, Print Sharing, etc. A Level 2 Systems Analysis consists not only of the client interview but also includes a system-by-system analysis of your complete environment as well as employee interviews with key personnel in order to enhance the information gathering process.
